Five structures including a candle factory was damaged in three separate fire incidents across the valley, police said in a statement on Thursday.
Fire broke out in the residential house of Abdul Ahad Deka son of Assadullah Deka at Dessu Daksum, Islamabad, resulting in complete damage to the house. Fire was later brought under control with the help of fire tenders.
Meanwhile, fire broke out in the residential house of Mohammad Dar son of Abdul Rehman Dar resident of Lahipora Aloosa Bandipora, resulting in complete damage to the house.
In another incident, fire erupted at Miyan Shah Sahib Rainawari last evening. In this incident, a candle factory belonging Wasim Ahmed Bhat son of Mohammad Bhat resident of Meyin Shah Sahab and two adjacent shops of Tanveer Ahmed Bhat got damaged completely.
Meanwhile, one person was injured in a road accident in Budgam last evening. An unknown motorcycle hit and injured Mohammad Ashraf Dar son of Ghulam Mohi-u-Din resident of Ohangam near Sichen, in Beerwa Budgam. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
