Man Injured in Batamaloo LPG Cylinder Fire Succumbs at Hospital

   

SRINAGAR: A man who sustained critical burn injuries in an LPG cylinder fire incident at his residence in SD Colony, Batamaloo, Srinagar, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital on Sunday, officials said.

Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that the deceased was among three family members who suffered burn injuries after an LPG cylinder caught fire inside their house on Saturday.

He was immediately shifted to a hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Ghulam Rasool Karcho, son of late Abdul Aziz Karcho, a resident of SD Colony, Batamaloo.

Meanwhile, the condition of the two other injured persons is stated to be stable, and they are undergoing treatment.

Police have already taken cognisance of the incident.
