SRINAGAR: A man from the Dooru area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, who was injured in a road accident near Rambagh flyover on June 23, last month, has succumbed to his injuries at SMHS hospital on Tuesday morning.

An official stated that a 50-year-old man, identified as Nisar Ahmad Shah, a resident of Shahbad Dooru area of Anantnag, was critically injured after his scooty was hit by a speedy vehicle near Rambagh flyover.

He was transferred to SMHS hospital in Srinagar for treatment, where he passed away due to his injuries this morning, the official said.

Meanwhile, the police have taken cognisance of the incident, and an FIR No. 30/2023 has been registered. (KNO)
