SRINAGAR: A young man driving a motorcycle lost his life in a road mishap in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday evening.
News Agency Kashmir Scroll reported that the biker identified as Shahid Yousuf Batoo, son of Mohammad Yousuf Batoo of Nowgam Shangus, was critically injured in a road accident in Trahpora Achabal when he was hit by a private vehicle bearing registration number JK01AL/2800.
The injured was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, police took cognizance of the road mishap. (KS)
