SRINAGAR
In an attempt to end his life, 50 years old Mohammad Sadiq Dar son of Abdul Aziz Dar resident of Gundi Jaffar, Qazigund attempted to slit his throat with a sharp knife at his home, police said on Monday.
He was shifted to District Hospital Islamabad in critical condition, where from he has been referred to SMHS Srinagar for further treatment.
Meanwhile a lady died and another person was injured in two separate road accidents in Islamabad last evening.
A lady Mumtaza Begum wife of Mohammad Ayub Wani resident of Anchidoora was injured when she fell from the Motor cycle bearing registration number JK03-9726 at K.P Road near Alsarwat Hospital. She was shifted to District Hospital Islamabad where she succumbed to her injuries. Mattan police has registered a case in this regard.
An unknown Auto hit and injured Bilal Ahmad Khan son of Sonaullah resident of Chree at Danwath, in the jurisdiction of police station Kokernag. The injured was shifted to Hospital for treatment.
