SRINAGAR: In a landmark development for higher education in Poonch, the district administration has secured administrative approval for the long-awaited construction of a Degree College campus in Mandi. The project, a demand persisting for over a decade, will soon take shape on 52 kanals of land identified at Rajpura Mandi, a DIPR statement said.
The approval comes after years of advocacy by local communities and stakeholders, coupled with dedicated efforts by the district administration. Following extensive discussions and negotiations, the project has successfully passed all required clearances from a designated screening committee, paving the way for its construction.
