The team of Mantaqi Sports won the first quarter final match of the 18th All India Twenty-20 Cricket Federation Cup and marked their position in the semifinals by defeating J&K Reds. The match was played at Victor Force Cricket Stadium Awantipora.PicsArt_1409150236917

On the 5th day of the tournament, the first match was played at Victor Force Cricket Stadium Awantipora between Mumbai Thunder and Maharashtra and the match was won by Mumbai Thunder’s team.

The second match was played between J&K whites and Haryana, the match was declared draw as the rain stopped the play. Both teams were given two points for the match.

At the second venue, at G.S.S Lajoora the first match was played between Uttrakhand and Baroda. Baroda won the match. The second match was played between J&K Blues and Mumbai, which was won by J&K Blues.

The J&K State is hosting the tournament for the year 2014. 16 teams from all over the India are participating in the tournament. The matches will be played from August 23rd to August 31.

The tournament is presently going on at Victor Forces Cricket Stadium Jawbiara Awantipora, Sports Ground Charligund Awantipora and at Sports Field of G.S.S Lajurah Pulwama.

In the year 2013, J&K state lifted the title of 17th All India Twenty 20 Cricket Federation cup which was also hosted by the J&K State Twenty 20 Cricket Federation.
