SRINAGAR: At least three persons were injured when an unexploded shell went off in Tosa Maidan meadow in Budgam district. The area was previously used by the Army as a firing range.
Locals said that three persons were injured after the explosion that took place in the Tosa Maidan meadow.
They said that injured youth were shifted to hospital for treatment where from one critically injured identified as Asif Ahmad Wani was shifted to Srinagar hospital for specialized treatment.
It was claimed that before throwing the meadow open for visitors all unexploded devices were defused
