The Court of Second Munsif, Srinagar Saturday sent incarcerated Hurriyat Conference (G) leader and Muslim League chairman, Masarat Alam Bhat to 11 days of judicial remand.

Police had sought three days remand of Masarat some days back after he was bailed by a Srinagar Court.

“Masarat saheb’s police remand had to expire today but the court of second Munsif, Srinagar sent him to 11 days of judicial remand,” a Muslim League spokesperson told Kashmir Life.

Masarat is undergoing continuous incarceration since 2010 after spearheading the then people’s uprising.
