Finally, the J&K Services Selection Board (SSB) Sunday formally ordered cancellation of all the written tests held on December 25, 2015.

Notably, mass copying was reported from as many centres on the said day. The pictures of candidates using mobile phones in the exam centres went viral on social networking sites.

In an advertisement notice published in Sunday’s Greater Kashmir, the SSB accepts candidates were sitting in groups and writing the examination “giving false impression of mass copying in specific centres”.

“The written test conducted on 25th December 2015 for graduate level posts held across the state is hereby scrapped/cancelled and same shall be conducted afresh in the month of April 2016 for which separate notice shall be issued,” wrote Secretary J&K SSB in the notice.
