In a major incident, a shopping complex and a building of hotel Glacier gutted in a devastating fire incident at tourist destination Pahalgam in Islamabad district of south Kashmir on Friday.
An eyewitness said that the fire has engulfed the Hotel Glacier and five other shops next to the building, at the main market in Pahalgam, however, there were no immediate details of the cause of the fire. Pertinently, due to the congestion at the main market where the hotel is located, there are chances of spreading the fire into other buildings.
An official from the Fire and Emergency department said that a team has reached to spot to douse off the flames. The official added that cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
