Massive traffic jam was witnessed on Srinagar-Baramulla road on Monday morning chocking traffic for hours.Reports said that hundreds of vehicles were stranded from Parimpora to Omar Abad since morning.

According the locals, the traffic Jam was caused due to the poor condition of the road and wrongly parked vehicles.
Commuters also accused traffic police for not fulfilling their duty properly.
While talking to the SSP traffic Sargun Shukla said, “We have cleared the road now and will take the actions against the people who park their vehicles wrongly”.
Traffic jam was caused because of the bad roads and for that we can’t do enough, she said.
She also held Monday as a reason for the jam saying, there is more traffic on Monday and that leads to inconveniences sometime.
