Suspected militants on Monday attacked a CRPF convoy near Panthachowk in Srinagar, police sources said.In the attack, six CRPF personnel are injured who have been referred to hospital for treatment.
Reports said that the convoy was carrying additional troops of para-military for the election duty.
Meanwhile soon after the attack, additional forces were rushed to the spot and forces have started search operation to nab the attackers.
