Matriculation Results for Kargil Below 50 per cent, Continues to have Deficit of 12 Per cent Pass Percentage

The J&K Board of School Education had announced the results of Matriculation Annual Examination 2012 for Kargil with a pass percentage of 47.30 per cent. As compared to Kashmir and Jammu regions, the deficit in Pass Percentage continuous to be more than 12 per cent for Kargil region as the BOSE has marked the pass percentage of class 10th for Kashmir at 59 per cent.
The first position has been bagged by Umul Baneen of JAME Kargil while as three Governments High Schools in  Prandas, Mushkow and Karsha have shown 0 per cent result.

As per the results declared, as many as 20 government school are credited with less than 50 per cent pass percentage. Few of them figure below 10 per cent as well like government higher secondary school Yourbaltak is at 8.62 per cent, Padum Zanskar 9.52 per cent, Saliskote 9.30 per cent and government high school Phey Zanskar has a success of 6.6 per cent.
