Muslim Deeni Mahaz (MDM) has paid “glowing tributes” to Raqib Bashir, who was killed in an encounter with forces on Saturday in Pulwama.
A delegation of MDM comprising of Mufti Nadeem and Khalid Bashir visited Zadoora Pulwama where they paid condolences to the family of the slain youth, a statement issued here said.
The statement read, “Raqib had given up a government job to join Jihad. This is a lesson for the people who sell their conscience for petty benefits.”
Meanwhile the spokesperson condemned the slapping of PSA on a Kashmir University student Muzzafar Ahmad Mir of Kangan.
“Muzaffar was arrested on 13th November 2015 when he was heading towards university. Ever since her widowed mother kept visiting police and administration but Muzaffar was not released,” the statement added.
