SRINAGAR: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti is on her way to meet Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan in Srinagar. This is their first formal meeting since the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019.
According to party sources, Mehbooba is expected to raise several public issues concerning Jammu and Kashmir during the meeting.
The last time Mehbooba visited Raj Bhavan was on August 4, 2019, when Satya Pal Malik was the Governor. She had gone there along with other PAGD leaders. This is her first meeting with the Lieutenant Governor at Raj Bhavan after the abrogation.
