The National Conference Monday while castigating the PDP on Mehbooba’s utterance that Modi’s coming is being celebrated in Kashmir said that while even Advani says that Modi can never become Vajpayee, Mehbooba being ‘more loyal than the king’ feels otherwise.
“It baffles me how a man like Modi can be liked by any one. It must take a person who has a mind and a heart that do not function normally. It is a disgrace that such a man whose hands are soaked with blood of thousands is liked by Mehbooba Mufti” Tanvir Sadiq, Political secretary to Omar Abdullah according to a statement issued to KNS, said adding “How similar are these two parties and their leaders both known for their communal politics and both have massacres to their credit”
Stating that Mehbooba’s prayers of Modi becoming PM will never be heard, Tanvir said “The PDP president is so much in admiration of her ‘Modi Ji’ that she hopes and prays that what people say about him, is not true” Tanvir added “How can a regional party from Kashmir speak in favour of someone whose agenda is to destroy Kashmiriyat”
Criticizing Mehbooba Mufti for calling ‘Modi Ji’ as very authoritative, Tanvir said “ Mehbooba Ji, Modi belongs to the RSS, whose ideology believes that in Hindustan, the land of Hindus, lives and should live a Hindu nation all others including Muslims are traitor and enemies to the national cause, who should claim nothing , deserve no privileges not even any citizens rights” asked Tanvir adding “are you celebrating this change”
“Mehbooba Ji who and which section of people in Kashmir thinks that Modi will be good for Kashmir except you and your party” asked Tanvir “the people want to know who are these traitors who want Kashmir special status to be weakened”
Hitting at Mehbooba for attacking Congress vice President the Political Secretary said “Attacking Rahul Gandhi is disgraceful politics”, “it’s the politics of the lowest, the way she has equated a Sheila ki jawani number to Rahul Gandhi’s working and it is shameful that how quickly these PDP leaders have changed colors”
Recalling the transcript of the NIC meeting, the political secretary said, “Anyone can check the transcript of the NIC meeting and see for themselves how she had referred about her businessman friend from Chennai, and the solution to his problems to do business in Gujarat.”
Sadiq said “She had, according to the transcript, while profusely praising the saffron leader, said that Modi had within 10 minutes solved the problems. Even Sushma Swaraj had mentioned Mehbooba’s praise for Modi during her speech on the last day of the three-day ‘Sadhbhavana’ fast.”
“It is proven beyond doubt that she thinks of him as a role model, and that is why a former IB director and a journalist are mediators between these two communal parties to strike a deal,” he added.
