As a result of this Weatherly system, rain-thunderstorm is predicted at scattered places in Kashmir valley from Friday evening.

In next 48 hours, rain-thunderstorm is expected at scattered places in Kashmir.

Pertinently, wet weather has disturbed the early spring in Kashmir damaging Almond flowers to so extent.

Tourists visiting Kashmir also feel badly because they miss the early flowery season for which the valley is known.

The department of Tourism has decided to throw open the famous Tulip garden on Saturday, however sources said that the Tulip flowers have not blown in full bloom so far. “It is due to the prevailing cold weather,” they added.
