The Jammu and Kashmir meteorological department on Monday has forecasted rain, snow during next 24 hours.

An official from the MeT department said: “there is the possibility of rain, snowfall in the state.”

The Srinagar has recorded minus 1.6, while it was minus 2.3 in Pahalgam and minus 5.6 in Gulmarg.

Kargil again recorded the coldest night in the state at minus 15, followed by Leh town at minus 14.

Jammu city recorded 5.1, Katra 7.8, Batote 2.8, Banihal minus 1.2, Bhaderwah 0.6 and Udhampur 2.6 degrees Celsius.
