SRINAGAR: The Ministry of Home Affairs has posted senior IPS officer Danesh Rana to the Jammu and Kashmir segment of the joint AGMUT cadre following his repatriation from Central deputation.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on September 1, Rana, a 1996-batch IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre, will serve in the Jammu and Kashmir segment until further orders.
The order was issued with the approval of the competent authority.
