SRINAGAR: The Ladakh Administration has transferred and posted 16 newly appointed Associate Law Officers and Assistant Law Officers to various departments and directorates in Leh and Kargil.
The postings were ordered by the Department of Law and Justice through Order No. 257-LA(LD) of 2026, dated September 2, 2026. The officials had been awaiting posting following their appointment orders issued on August 27.
Under the order, the officials have been directed to report to their respective directorates and departments for further duties.
Among the postings, Arif Hussain has been placed with the Directorate of School Education in Kargil, while Siddiqa Banoo has been posted to Social and Tribal Welfare, Kargil. Aga Syed Abass has been assigned to Rural Development, Kargil.
In Leh, Junaid Jan has been posted to Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Deachen Chorol to Housing and Urban Development, Disket Angmo to Industries and Commerce, Khatija Bano to Handicrafts and Handlooms, Phuntsog Tsewang to the Home Department, and Stanzin Dolker to the Forest, Ecology and Environment Department.
Gulzar Hussain has been posted to Youth Services and Sports in Kargil, while Jirjum Bogo has been assigned to the Wildlife Department, Kargil.
Among the Junior Law Officers/Assistant Law Officers, Urgain Tundup has been posted to Police Headquarters, Leh; Stanzin Yangdol to the HLG Secretariat, Leh; and Stanzin Kunphel to the District Litigation Office, Leh.
Stanzin Angmo has been posted to the Home Department, Leh, Nasima Abidi to the Higher Education Department, Leh, while the remaining officials have been assigned duties as specified in the order.
