While calling the recent arrests and killings of militants in Sopora as a huge success, the IGP Kashmir range, Abdul Gani Mir Thursday said the militancy in the valley was not over.
Mir was was speaking in a police public interactive meeting at Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
He called upon youth to pay more attention towards their studies, “Youth are our future and they should put more attention towards studies and competitive exams”, he said.
Mir, while responding to people’s concerns said he would direct all SDPOs and SHOs to ensure that police was very friendly towards common people. He also asked for quick redressal of people’s problems. “Police should understand peoples issues and vice versa”, he said
