Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested a militant associate in RS Pura area of Jammu division.
A police spokesman in a statement said that Jammu Police in RS Pura have arrested a hardcore Over Ground Worker of Jaish-e-Mohammad outfit along with incriminating material.
“The accused namely Mohd Muzaffer Beigh son of Asadudullah Beigh a resident of Vodhpora ,Handwara was arrested from Chakroi by a special team led by SDPO RS Pura along with SHO RS Pura,” said the spokesman.
“During questioning important disclosures relating to links with militants inside have been established,” he said.
“Subsequently a case FIR no 63/2020 US 13,17,39 UAPA and 121-A IPC was registered at PS RS Pura and investigation taken up. Some more arrests are expected in the case,” said police spokesman in a statement.
