A top Lashkar-e-Toiba commander has been arrested by Jammu and Kashmir Police in Sopore town of Baramulla district, in North Kashmir on Friday.
“The arrested militant is being idetified as a Pakistani national and is under going questioning by police,” reports said.
The reports said that during a raid on the house of Farooq Ahmad, who is an elected village-headman of Choru in Northern Sopore town, police’s counter insurgency group arrested a top Lashkar commander.
Pertinently,a militant was killed earlier this week n restive Sopoere while five militants were killed in South Kashmir’s Shopian Thursday in a gun battle.
