Srinagar:
Amilitant was killed and three BSF soldiers sustained injuries after militants attacked a force’s camp near the International Airport Srinagar on Tuesday, police said.
Militants stormed the 182 battalion of the BSF camp near the high security Srinagar Airport and the Airforce station at Gogo Humhama around 4.30 am.
The militants 2 to 3 in number are believed to have taken shelter in the administrative block of the camp.
Besides the only civilian airport, the technical airport used by Armed Forces and VIPs is also in the vicinity. The area also houses training centres of the BSF and CRPF.
Meanwhile aal the flights to and from Srinagar have been cancelled.
