Two militants have been killed in an encounter that broke out in Hadoora area of Shuhama in Ganderbal district Tuesday morning.
Both the bodies and two AK-47 rifles have been recovered from the site of the gunfight.
Sanitization operation is going on in the area.
Earlier, army and SOG cordoned off Bhat Mohalla Hadoora area of the district following specific information about the presence militants.
As such the joint team of forces intensified the searches operation the militants hiding inside the house opened fire and engaged forces in a gun battle.
