SRINAGAR: As the forces laid siege after militants attacked Naka party in Kreeri, encounter rages between militants and forces in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police officer told news agency GNS that as the forces were searching for the militants in Kreeri after the earlier attack in which two CRPF men and policeman were killed, contact was established with the fleeing militants. In the ensuing gunfight, one militant has been killed.
Till this report was being filed, the intermittent firing was going on.
