SRINAGAR: A militant was killed in an ongoing operation in Kilbal area in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday, an official said.

He said that the gunfight broke out in Kilbal area in Shopian on Saturday following a search operation.
Earlier, a police spokesman said a gunfight broke out between militants and forces in Kilbal village of Shopian district.
