SRINAGAR: A militant was killed in an ongoing encounter in the Behrote Budhal area of Rajouri district.
Reports reaching Kashmir Scroll said upon receipt of inputs about the presence of militants in Samnoo Behrote Budhal area, the security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the area.
The militants opened fire on the security forces, leading to an encounter.
In the initial exchange of gunfire, a militant has been killed so far.
