Srinagar
One militant has been killed during an ongoing encounter in Gadapora village of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday.
An army spokesman Rajesh Kalia told Kashmir Life that one militant has been killed and encounter is going on.
The encounter began after a joint Army’s 34 RR, CRPF and SOG launched cordon and search operation in Ratnipora.
Earlier, an offcicial said that exchange of firing has taken place in Ratnipora between militants and government forces after having reliable information about the presence of some militants in the area.
Till this report was being filed exchange of firing was going on.
