A complete shutdown is being observed on Friday in South Kashmir parts following death of two Hizbul Mujahideen militants.
Cop-turned-rebel, Naseer Ahmad and four year old militant, Waseem Ahmad Malla, died in a brief gun fight with forces in Vehil area of Shopian on early Thursday.
Reports and local sources said that main Pulwama and Shopian towns are shut while minor protests are reported from Karimabad area- Naseer’s home village. Waeeem was resident of Pehlipora, Shopian. The duo belonged to famous Burhan group.
Traffic is off the major roads in the twin districts while business establishments are closed down.
