Militants attacked an army patrol party in Shopian district of southern part of Kashmir on Thursday reportedly injuring two army men.

“Militants attacked an army party of 62 RR withdrawing after a cordon-and-search-operation in Materbugh village of Shopian,” reports said.

Reinforcement was immediately rushed and search operation was started, sources said.

Meanwhile, army sources declined the reports of army men suffering injuries.
