Srinagar
Militants on Sunday evening attacked an army party in Poterwal area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.
An official said that militants opened fire on a patrolling party of 34 RR in Poterwal village today evening.
The fire was retaliated by the army troopers. However, there was no immediate report of any injury on either side.
Meanwhile, the whole area has been cordoned off by the forces to nab the attackers.
