Militants on Thursday morning attacked a CRPF vehicle in Islamabad injuring 4 CRPF personnels.
Reports reaching here said that the militants attacked a vehicle of 96 BN CRPF at Lazibal in Islamabad district. Four jawans of CRPF have suffered injuries in the attack.
Some reports suggested that a civilian has also suffered injuries in the attack. However, Kashmir Life couldn’t verify the report.
A police official said that a convoy of crpf 96 battalion with six buses was on their way back to Mattan where militants fired at them.
The attack was repulsed though two crpf men received minor injuries, he said.
Meanwhile, the forces have cordoned off the area to trace the militants. More details are awaited.
