Suspected militants have allegedly threatened a police officer in southern district of Kashmir Shopian on late monday night. Details revealed that suspected militants barged into the house of a police officer in Diyaroo area of Shopian District on late Monday evening and threatened him of ‘dire consequences’.
The officer has been identified as ASI Dilbar Ahmad Rather. “Militants entered the house of the officer and ransacked his house,” police sources confirmed.
At the time of incident the officer was at his home with his family.
The militants fled from the spot before firing some gunshots in the air, police said.
