SRINAGAR: An army trooper was injured on Monday when militants attacked the Army Base in the Sunjwan area of Jammu district.
Quoting officials, GNS reported that militants attacked the Base Camp around 10:15 am. The army retaliated, triggering an exchange of fire.
During the exchange, one army soldier sustained bullet wounds and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Additional reinforcements have been rushed to the Base as the search operation continues to hunt down the fleeing militants. More details will follow.
