SRINAGAR: Militants engaged in an encounter in Kathua have escaped from the encounter site in the Jathana area, an official said.
The official said that a group of militants, engaged for over a week, managed to flee the encounter site last evening.
“The search operation has been extended to the adjoining areas of Jathana to locate the fleeing militant group,” added the official.
