Gun salute was offered by militants to the slain Lashkar-e-Toiba militant Nasir Wani in Heff village of Shopian.
Reports said that at least ten militants appeared in the funeral of Nasir Wani and offered a gun salute.
Reports said that the funeral was attended by thousands of people. “Militants touched the face of Nasir Wani and fired several shots in air,” eye-witness said.
The funeral prayers were held at least six times until 11:30 am.
Wani was killed along with Commander Junaid Mattoo and Adil Mushtaq in a gunfight with forces in Arwani village yesterday.
