A minor died while a boy injured in separate road accidents in valley and in a fire incident a Masjid was damaged in valley.
According to a police statement, a Tata 407 vehicle bearing registration number JK03A/4268 hit and injured a minor child Raju son of Ukma resident of Rajisthan at General Bus Stand Islamabad. The injured was shifted to hospital by locals, where he succumbed to his injuries.
A school bus hit and injured a boy Mudasir Ahmad Awan son of Fareed Awan resident of Gul Nard Dardpora at DardPora, Kupwara. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Handwara for treatment.
A Masjid Sharief was damaged in a fire incident in Srinagar, last evening.
“Fire broke out in the Masjid Sharief Takia near Police Station Nowhatta, Srinagar, resulting in the damage to the Masjid Sharief. Fire tenders and police was brought fire under control,” the statement said.
