Two persons died and other four were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley.
A passenger bus bearing registration number JKE/5624 collided with a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK05C/ 6152 at Matipora, Drugmulla, Kupwara resulting in on spot death of Sharief-u-Din-Bukhari, 70 years, son of Qatub-ud-Din resident of Kreeri Pattan and other two persons Naseer-u-Din Bukhari, 32 years, son of Shams-u-Din and Sawha-ud- Din Bukhari, 43 years, son of Qatub-ud-Din Bukhari resident of Kreeri Pattan got injured. Both the injured were shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment from where both of the injured were referred to SKIMS Soura Srinagar for specialized treatment.
In an another accident a Ford Figo temporary registration number M-126D hit and injured three children, Gousia 12 years, daughter of Abdul Hamid Bhat resident of Surash Khag, Uzma 11 years, daughter of Bashir Ahmad Wani resident of Sail and Yawar Wani, 10 years, son of Farooq Ahmad Wani resident of Sail at general road village Sail, Beerwa in district Budgam.
Uzma later on Succumbed to her injuries at SKIMS Soura and other two are under treatment.
