SRINAGAR: A minor girl lost her life after being accidentally crushed under a wooden log while playing in the Trenz area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district, officials said on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Mahira Jan, daughter of Babu Khan, a resident of Rajouri and presently staying at Baba Khider, Trenz.
Officials said the child was playing when the log fell on her, resulting in her death on the spot.
Cognisance of the incident has been taken and further investigation has been initiated. (JKNS)
