SRINAGAR: On Friday evening, a tragic incident occurred in the Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, where a 5-year-old girl (name withheld) drowned in Nallah Kurd at Heb Dangerpora.
According to an official statement, the locals and police managed to retrieve the girl’s body from the Nallah.
Following the spread of this heart-wrenching news, emotional scenes were witnessed throughout the entire village.
A police officer informed Kashmir Scroll that a case has been registered in connection with the incident. (KS)
