SRINAGAR: A 7-year-old girl died on Monday evening after she slipped into a stream at Soibugh area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Quoting an official the news agency KNO reported that the girl identified as Rabiya Jan daughter of Farooq Ahmad Ganie, resident of Gariend Khurd slipped into the stream when she was playing with some toys at her maternal uncle’s home in Churpora Soibugh.
He said that the girl was rescued immediately by her relatives from the stream and rushed to PHC Soibugh.
The official said that she was, however, declared dead on arrival by the doctors at the hospital—(KNO)
