National Panthers Party patron, Prof Bhim Singh Saturday said that National Conference is blowing the ‘toppling report’ out of proportion while the fact is that former Army Chief, General V.K.Singh is being targeted as he shared the dais with Narendra Modi in Bhiwani Haryana.
“We all know that Agriculture Minister Ghulam Hasan Mir is an opportunist but we must ponder over the fact that why on earth Singh would chose a person like Mir to topple Omar Abdullah’s government when his position and Cabinet berth itself was on stake,” he told CNS.
He said that the post of Army Chief should not be undermined. “If Singh would have wished to topple Omar government, he would have done it within no time. NC wants to get some political mileage as this party has lost credibility in the State,” he said.
Singh further said that Ghulam Hassan Mir is being targeted because at present he is not in the good books of Congress.
