Chairman of his faction of Hurriyat, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Thursday evening condemned the civilian killing in Arwani Bijbehara.
According to the spokesman, Mirwaiz strongly condemned the killing of Arif Amin Shah, son of Muhammad Amin Shah, of Nyaina Sangam and injuring dozens of civilians by the government forces at Arwani village of Islamabad district when they were protesting against the atrocities by the forces on the civilian population under the garb of an encounter.” Mirwaiz has termed it as part of the campaign of state terrorism being committed against the people of Kashmir.
Mirwaiz according to the spokesman further stated that the “state continues to utilize all repressive methods to muzzle voices of the Kashmiri people and its leadership.”
