Hurriyat (G) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Tuesday along with party activists visited the residence of AAC’s executive member and prominent lawyer Advocate Peerzada Shamsdin Shah at Warpora, Alesteng who expired yesterday after a prolonged illness. Mirwaiz expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family, especially with Abdul Basit, the son of deceased and other family members.

The spokesman said that Mirwaiz while recalling the contribution of Shah, said that he was an honest and committed member of AAC and his death has created a space in the party cadre which will be difficult to fill.  Mirwaiz prayed for highest standards for the deceased in Janah and patience to the bereaved family.

Mirwaiz also expressed his grief and sorrow over the demise of the wife of prominent resistance leader based in Pakistan administered Kashmir Ghulam Muhammad Safi and extended his sympathy and solidarity to the bereaved family.

Meanwhile, a delegation of AAC comprising Muhammad Shafi Khan, Muhammad Yousuf Baht, Muhammad Sidiq Hazar, Muhammad Ashraf Changa and others visited the residence of Abdul Ahad Bhat, a long-time activist of AAC, on his demise. The delegation extended a condolence message on behalf of the Mirwaiz to the family and prayed for the highest standards in janah for the departed soul.
