Paradise Wood House at Lethpora inagurated on June Ist 2016

All Parties Hurriyat Conference (m) Chairperson Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Wednesday inaugurated the first of its kind art, handicraft and walnut showroom ‘Paradise Wood House’ at Lethpora, Pampore Pulwama South of Kashmir.

Besides people from Tourism sector, the function was attended by Hurriyat Conference (m) Media Advisor Advocate Shahid-ul-Islam, Youth AAC President Sufi Mushtaq Ahmad, several prominent personalities from different walks of life including Journalists, Lawyers, Activists, Traders, House Boat Owners, Travel Agents and local people.

Congratulating the Paradise Wood House owner Mudasir Muran on start of the new venture, Mirwaiz said we need more youth with dynamic initiatives to come forward. Opening of magnificent art and Handicraft business outlets like Paradise Wood House is an optimistic signal as it does not only act as an ambassador of our culture but also boosts efforts with regards to self-reliance.

Mirwaiz said Kashmir desperately needs self-reliance and need to encourage more and more youth towards such initiatives. He said private organizations play a positive role in the economy besides opening new job opportunities for the younger generation.

Lauding the beautiful Kashmiri art and hand craft items on very reasonable prices, Mirwaiz said the items here depicting the great traditions and culture of Kashmir as such Paradise Wood House is expected to draw worldwide attention.

Pertinently, Mirwaiz presented a replica of Kashmir’s Grand Mosque (Jamia Masjid) made by Paradise Wood House to Iranian Ambassador in India, Ghulam Raza Ansari during his last visit to Kashmir.
