SRINAGAR: Acting on the instructions of its Patron-in-Chief, Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, a team from Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil will be heading to Uri and adjoining areas on Friday to deliver essential relief kits to families affected by the recent conflict.
The initiative, being carried out in coordination with local Imams, aims not only to provide material assistance but also to convey Mirwaiz Umar Farooq’s personal message of sympathy and solidarity to the affected communities. In a statement, the organisation said that it will also dispatch relief supplies to conflict-affected families in Poonch ahead of Eid.
Darul Khair said it has consistently extended support to victims of both natural and man-made disasters across Jammu and Kashmir, irrespective of religion or community, through public donations and voluntary service.
Reaffirming its commitment to continued service, the organisation has appealed to people of means to contribute generously so that the humanitarian aid effort remains uninterrupted.
