Authorities put Hurriyat Conference (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq under house arrest in his Nagin residence to prevent him to lead a rally after Friday prayers.
“Police cordoned of Mirwaiz’s residence this morning and informed him that he can’t move out,” Hurriyat (M) media advisor, Shahid-ul-Islam told Kashmir Life.
