Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid Thursday announced that the biggest congregation of Eid-ul-Azha prayers would be held at historic Eidgah Srinagar where Eid prayer would be offered at 10 am sharp.

Mirwaiz Umar Farooq would deliver a sermon at 9 am before the Eid prayers wherein he would throw light on the significance Eid -i-Qurban in Islam.

“On the occasion, a recent resolution against the court order declaring ban of beef passed unanimously during the recent meeting of Mutehda-Majlis-e-Ulema would be presented before people for approval,” the statement said.

In case of bad weather or rains Eid prayers would be offered at Jamia Masjid Srinagar same time, at 10 am sharp.
